• Club parties .

The main activities of the club are the club parties which are held every last Thursday of a month from 7.00 p.m. to 9.04.01 p.m., in other words 1241seconds as a symbol of the first mention of Kolomyia (the year of 1241).

Chronology of the club parties. The first club party took place on the 27th of december 2007. During 2008 10 parties were organized. In 2008 the mass media presented 30 materials about The Kolomiytsy Club.


Actions. 1. On the Club's initiative and and at the expence of its members on the 6th of November 2008 a memorial board to Ivan Bogdan, the first Ukrainian who stepped on the American continent in 1608, was erected. (Authors: Bogdan Gladkyi and Vitaliy Gorodetskyi from Ivano-Frankivsk).

2. On the Club's initiative on the night of the 13th of January 2009 the ball called Malanka’s Night was organized for the first time since 1939. This has become an all-city event.

At the party the members of the club have a discussion about the club affairs and the Kolomyia news, give different ideas, present exhibitions, listen to the prominent person that is invited to the party.

The members of the club are treated to wine, cheese, olives, cookies.

A programme is printed for every party.
